Construct Validation of Theories and Tests of Intelligence for the Mid-21st Century
细分领域
We are particularly interested in papers that discuss what construct validation of theories and tests of intelligence would look like from a particular perspective, such as the psychometric, biological, cognitive, cultural, developmental, evolutionary, contextual, cognitive training, computer simulation, or AI. Authors would discuss (a) the approach they take, (b) how it differs from (and is similar to) past approaches, (c) a summary of one or more examples, (d) strengths and limitations of the approach, (e) what questions about the approach need to be addressed in future research. The focus would be on using theories to construct assessments, rather than deriving theories post hoc from the assessments. Papers are due [nine months from date of announcement] and should be 6000 to 9000 words in length, including references and all other material. The special issue editor is Robert J. Sternberg. Papers are submitted through the regular journal portal, indicating that they are for the special issue. The special issue may be a mix of invited and submitted papers. All papers will be peer-reviewed in the normal fashion.
